Sports university SC010 is a user-oriented building that is inclusive, interactive and above all, accessible for all: casual and professional athletes, students, and locals from the neighbourhood. As a space that brings access to new futures, its variety of spaces – open and closed, quiet and loud – are to be appropriated by each individual user. The facade plays with open, closed and in-between, showing off and hiding certain places; using steel battens, curtain walls and facade panels that mimic concrete, it creates a dynamic sight that draws people in.
